Sid the Tech is a lifelong enthusiast of technology with a background spanning computer science, web development, multimedia, electronics, and embedded integrations. His work has ranged from device repair and service to designing workflow solutions that make complex systems easier to manage. Certified as both an Apple ACMT and ACSP, Sid brings extensive knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Debian-based Linux environments, while also building custom PCs and crafting both software and hardware solutions.
Beyond certifications, Sid has cultivated a deep proficiency in audio and video production, node-based web development, and graphic design. His approach is always practical: finding ways to streamline processes and deliver creative solutions that fit the evolving demands of today’s technology landscape.
Outside of professional work, Sid’s passions extend into music and science. He plays piano, ukulele, and guitar, writes songs, and produces original instrumentals. His curiosity also leads him into physics and cosmology, where he enjoys exploring the mysteries of space. Sid frequently experiments with microcontrollers and embedded systems, blending his love of electronics with creative problem‑solving.
Sid has worked as Assistant Director of Operations for California‑based comic convention events, where he supported logistics, production, and event management. In a separate role, he co‑created and co‑produced Streamtacular.com in partnership with the Palm Springs International Animation Festival (PSIAF.org), focusing on multimedia streaming and creative event production. He also assists in managing and editing podcasts and video productions, contributing technical expertise and workflow solutions to creative teams.
