Refund Policy

How refunds work for services, diagnostics, and shop products.

This Refund Policy explains when and how refunds are issued by SidTheTech for services and products. It works together with our Terms of Service.

1. Diagnostic Fees

Diagnostic fees are non-refundable, as they cover the time and labor of evaluating your device. Where applicable, a paid diagnostic fee may be credited toward an approved repair completed within the related warranty period.

2. Services & Labor

  • Completed services and labor are generally non-refundable once performed.
  • If we are unable to complete an approved repair, we will refund amounts paid for the portion of work not performed, less any diagnostic fee and the cost of any parts already ordered or installed.
  • Issues with a completed repair may be covered under our 90-Day Repair Policy rather than a refund.

3. Products & Shop Orders

  • Unopened, unused products in original condition may be returned within 14 days of receipt for a refund of the product price.
  • Special-order items, software, digital goods, and consumables may be non-returnable.
  • Return shipping and any restocking fees (if applicable) are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error or a defective item.
  • Defective products may be replaced or refunded at our discretion.

4. Deposits

Deposits for parts or scheduled work are applied to your final invoice. Deposits for parts that have been ordered may be non-refundable if the parts cannot be returned to the supplier.

5. How to Request a Refund

Contact us at sidthetech@gmail.com or through our contact page with your invoice or SRO number and the reason for the request. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days.

6. Chargebacks

Please contact us first so we can resolve any issue directly. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may delay resolution.
