90-Day Repair Policy

Our workmanship guarantee on completed repairs.

SidTheTech stands behind its work. Completed repairs are covered by this 90-Day Repair Policy, which guarantees our workmanship for the specific repair performed. This Policy works together with our Terms of Service.

1. What Is Covered

  • The labor/workmanship for the specific repair we performed, for 90 days from the date of completion.
  • Parts we supplied and installed, subject to the manufacturer’s warranty on those parts.
  • If the same issue we repaired recurs within 90 days due to our workmanship, we will re-perform that repair at no additional labor charge.

2. What Is Not Covered

  • New, different, or unrelated problems not part of the original repair.
  • Physical damage, liquid/water damage, drops, power surges, or accidents occurring after service.
  • Software issues, malware, operating-system corruption, or data loss.
  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, or unauthorized modifications.
  • Repairs, modifications, or tampering performed by anyone else after our service.
  • Pre-existing conditions or defects disclosed at intake, and devices with intermittent or environmental faults beyond our control.
  • Customer-supplied parts (those carry only the manufacturer’s warranty, if any).

3. Data

This Policy covers repair workmanship only. You remain responsible for backing up your data; we are not responsible for data loss. See our Service Policies and Privacy Policy.

4. How to Make a Claim

Contact us at sidthetech@gmail.com or via our contact page with your SRO or invoice number within the 90-day period and a description of the issue. We may need to inspect the device to confirm the issue relates to the original repair.

5. Remedy

The remedy under this Policy is, at our discretion, re-performing the covered repair. This Policy does not extend to refunds except as provided in our Refund Policy, and our liability is limited as stated in our Terms of Service.
