Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website, services, and products offered by SidTheTech (“SidTheTech,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a computer repair, technical services, and web/media services business based in Las Vegas, Nevada. By using our services, website, or shop, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

We provide computer and device repair, diagnostics, remote and in-person technical support, web and graphic design, multimedia services, training, and related products. Specific service details, estimates, and timelines are provided per engagement and may be documented in a Service Repair Order (SRO).

2. Estimates, Approvals & Authorization

• Diagnostic findings and repair estimates are provided before chargeable repair work begins where practical.
• You authorize us to perform diagnostics and the repairs you approve. We will seek your approval before work that exceeds an approved estimate.
• Approvals may be given in writing, electronically (including via a secure approval link or by text-message reply), or in person.

3. Payment & Pricing

• Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements are made in writing.
• Prices are subject to change; the price quoted or shown at the time of your order or approval applies to that transaction.
• Payments are processed securely through our payment processor (Stripe). Diagnostic fees may be non-refundable as described in our Refund Policy.

4. Repair Terms & Data

Device repairs are also subject to our Service Policies, the service waiver presented at intake, and our 90-Day Repair Policy. You are responsible for backing up your data before service. We handle your data confidentially but are not responsible for data loss; see those policies and our Privacy Policy.

5. Shop Orders & Products

Product availability and pricing may change without notice. We may cancel or refuse an order due to errors, suspected fraud, or unavailability. Product returns are governed by our Refund Policy.

6. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

7. Communications & Text Messaging

With your consent, we may contact you by email and SMS about your service, orders, and account. SMS messaging is governed by our SMS Terms and Privacy Policy. You can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse our services or website, including attempting to disrupt them, access them without authorization, or use them for unlawful purposes. We may refuse or discontinue service at our discretion, including upon discovery of illegal content or safety concerns.

9. Warranties & Disclaimers

Except as expressly stated (e.g., our 90-Day Repair Policy), services and products are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation of any device, software, or website.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service or product giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including data loss.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold SidTheTech harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of our services or violation of these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on this page.
